Artemida at the XI International Youth Forum
#TwGOD is glad to share with all of you the testimony of our team member from Albania, Artemida Golemi, who participated in the XI International Youth Forum, which was held in Rome, Italy, from 19 to 22 June:
"Young people from more than 100 countries around the world gathered in this meeting to talk about the youth presence and power in the Church. Through busy days with conferences, work groups, and a special meeting with Pope Francis, we discussed new possibilities and responsibilities for young people.
Which is the best way to evangelize a young person? Perhaps another young person? We were helped a lot by the post-synodal apostolic exhortation “Christus Vivit”. It was a great opportunity for us to know that our ideas matter, how our love for Jesus and Jesus' love for us can push us to do big things. The collaboration between generations in the Church can help to establish new changes standing in strong roots.
The most beautiful thing was creating new friendships from different cultures, which know and appreciate the same projects, such as 'Tweeting with God' and 'Online with Saints'. Furthermore, through these friendships supporting each other, we can overcome different challenges in our local Church communities."
#TwGOD follows the steps of the Church and wants to listen to what she will say to all of us, her children, so that we can continue collaborating the work of evangelization, especially among young people.
