For the elderly

July 2022

The Pope's prayer intention (July 2022)

We pray for the elderly, who represent the roots and memory of a people; may their experience and wisdom help young people to look towards the future with hope and responsibility.

Why should we listen to and care for the elderly?

We often forget that our society is in great need of the elderly! Sharing their experience, they can give wisdom to young people, inspire responsibility and offer them hope. Also by allowing the young to care for them, they teach us important lessons. You may have many questions about this: the Tweeting with GOD app can help you find answers.
